WORKCOVER NSW is investigating a workplace incident early on the afternoon of 1 May 2008.
The incident took place along Epping Road at North Ryde. A 47-year-old male road worker was killed after being hit by a tip-truck. He was part of a roadworks crew working on a section of median strip along the road.
The authority has sent an inspector to the scene and promises a full investigation.
