xperts in safety management will cover a variety of safety-related topics, including the importance of System Safety management, risk management, software safety engineering, system safety paradigms and principles and hazard identification.SWINBURNE Industry Solutions has teamed up with Australian Marine Offshore Group (AMOG) to offer an informative and skill-based training program for safety system engineers.
According to the course organisers, modern systems have been driven to grow in sophistication and flexibility in design. This has resulted in an increased reliance on modern, software intensive control systems that can be very complex, resulting in more hidden failure points, which can have a critical effect on safety.
Governments and regulatory bodies now require comprehensive and robust demonstrations of how safety has been considered for these systems, in all facets of the lifecycle from concept to disposal. The program will deal with these requirements.
Experts in safety management will cover a variety of safety-related topics, including the importance of System Safety management, risk management, software safety engineering, system safety paradigms and principles and hazard identification.
The program is run over five days from 2 June 2008. It will cost $2995 per person.
