SPERIAN Protection has released a range of harnesses and lanyards compatible with the latest safety standards for fall protection equipment.The AS/NZS 1891.1 2007 standard specifies harnesses must have a frontal fall arrest connection point, new testing procedures for double lanyards based on field misuse, increased hook latch strength, and various other requirements.The Miller brand range is said to be suitable for use under this regime.Sperian has also introduced the Miller Training, Inspection, Products and Standards (TIPS) compliance educational package for safe working at heights.
