The ES21 emergency stop buttons comply with the relevant EN ISO 13850 (EN418) and EN 60947-5-5 standards. They can be integrated into a machine control panel or directly mounted on a machine by using a housing, and have an installation diameter of 22mm.
The buttons are suited for automated machines and plants such as packaging machines, processing centres and conveyor systems. During an emergency, the button can be pressed to immediately terminate movement and restoring a safety state.
A variety of wiring options are offered by the contact block. An additional contact element in the built-in units monitors the safe connection between the emergency stop button and the switching contact.
Variants with integrated LED ring illumination are available, as are devices with a protective collar against unintentional use. Since emergency stop buttons remain locked in the depressed state after use, the ES21 series allows for the use of a key or rotary button to release the interlock.
