IFAP is holding a two day course on advanced injury management in mid-January 2009.
The event, scheduled for 13 to 14 January 2009, will revisit and reinforce participants’ knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Law.
It will include case studies which demonstrate the legal strategies needed to solve day to day issues which affect the injury management process.
The second day of the course will cover injured worker non-compliance behavioural issues and ways to identify and control disruptive issues.
According to the organisers, the course will enable early identification and control of behavioural issues and concerns, which will in term prevent long duration claims.
