According to the company, working under hot temperatures can lower workers’ mental alertness and physical performance. The Serpent ventilated safety helmet has a CoolSense technology which lets heat escape, while a soft cushioned brow pad absorbs moisture and perspiration.
The helmet is made of lightweight high-density polyethylene material and weighs 371g. Impact absorption is provided by a soft, six-point nylon suspension. The helmet can be bitted with a pin-lock or ratchet suspension which can be adjusted to fit different head sizes.
A rain trough is also designed into the helmet to divert water from workers’ faces.
