Organisers are expecting 3000 visitors at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre, while the Safety Conference will feature more the 30 Australian and international speakers. According to the Safety Institute of Australia, the conference will address various topics such as workplace wellness and critical incident investigation.
The Safety Show is slated to feature a spectrum of lifesaving solutions, from asbestos removal and automation safety through to tracking devices for trapped workers and waste management.
It will also see corporate wellness services like flu shots, skin checks and stress-busting programs.
150 exhibitors are expected to have stalls at the show, including BOC, Elliott Australia, JLG Industries, Steel Blue and Toyota Materials Handling.
The organisers are particularly excited with Identec Solutions, supplier of the WatcherMine system which uses radio frequency identification tags to find workers in the event of a mine collapse.
Molescan Australia, another exhibitor, will display their mobile scanning service, which visits workplaces to provide skin cancer scans. Attendees can take the opportunity to be screened for suspicious moles.
