Work with market leading global brands and industrialise them to the local market. Food technologist with commercial experience.
This high profile high profile multinational with a substantial manufacturing and warehousing operations in Africa, Oceania & Asia, is seeking to appoint an food technologist to manage the local product range and ensure it meets local market tastes as well as adhering to global brand strategies. You will tailor processes, formulas, products to meet the respective environments across several countries.
This role will manage the implementation of the product design analysis program for all brands to ensure alignment with global brand strategy, and ensure that post launch analysis is conducted at all times. You will ensure you liaise with the global tech community to ensure that the region is abreast of latest advances to ensure rapid implementation of new products or enhancements.
You will perform a regional role, however be physically based in the NSW manufacturing plant.
We are seeking a high-calibre candidate with technical knowledge, and the ability to make decisions and proactive recommendations, being resilient when dealing with the various divisions involved.
Ideally you will have product technologist experience in an FMCG manufacturing and distribution environment, SAP knowledge (preferable), together with tertiary qualifications in Applied Science / Food Technology or equivalent.
