Under the broad direction of the Human Resources, the Return To Work Coordinator has the full responsibility for the development and implementation of Claims Management, return to work strategies for WorkCover and early intervention issues this organisation. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for providing advice, support and leadership to line managers on a range of claims and return to work.
The key objectives include achieving the key performance indicators relating to the management of rehabilitation and the return of injured staff back to work across the organisation.
Drawing on specialist industry knowledge, the incumbent takes a proactive approach to injury management and provides expert advice, guidance and regular feedback to the line managers on WorkCover processes, obligations and overall case management matters.
To be considered for this vacancy you will have proven experience in the following ;
- Claims and injury management experience
- Allied health background
- Undertake effective Claims Management and related rehabilitation practices ensuring cost effective outcomes
- High level of communication, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to interact across a wide section of staff
- Review, assess, determine treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
- A current driver's license
