THE GENERAL Mat Company (GMC) has appointed Focus Safety New Zealand to distribute its range of entrance, safety, anti-fatigue and ergonomic matting.
GMC managing director Michael Siegle says Focus Safety has a broad experience in safety related products, making it an ideal organisation to join its network of distributors.
“Especially with an ageing workforce, employers are becoming more aware that there is more to ongoing workplace safety than providing gloves, helmets and glasses, which won’t protect you against a fall or longer term injury,” Siegle said.
GMC’s sales director David Freedman will soon travel to New Zealand to conduct training courses and introduce new products to the Focus Safety team.
