WORKCOVER WA is hosting two workers’ compensation and injury management seminars in the Kimberely region on 8 December and 17 December 2009.
According to WorkCover WA, the sessions include a 45 minute presentation, followed by question and answer time said to assist local employers to understand their roles and responsibilities regarding workers' compensation and injury management.
The authority says employers will receive information on current workers’ compensation insurance policy, implementing an injury management system and supporting an injured worker in their return to work.
The first session, held on 8 December 2009, will be held at the All Seasons Hotel in Kununurra.
The seminar on 17 December 2009 will be held at The Mangrove Resort Hotel in Broome.
