FUTUREMEDIA has released a new occupational health and safety (OHS) training program DVD, said to be innovative and highly successful in award-winning companies.
“All for One — The Meerkat Way” is said to have inspired the 2007 National Safety Award winner Alphapharm to adopt the Meerkat as the company’s symbol for safety.
The city of Belmont in Western Australia has praised the DVD for its innovative take on behavioural safety.
The training program documents the behavioural patterns of Meerkats and applies it to promote awareness about the importance of OHS.
According to FutureMedia, the program is highly successful with employees seeking to identify hazards and suggest safety improvements after watching the DVD.
